Curriculum

Curriculum is taught within a Comprehensive Theme Based Learning Environment. All magnet schools offer the district curriculum which is in line with Florida's Sunshine State Standards. The curriculum, Kaleidoscope (Elementary), Mosaic (Middle) and Spectrum (High School) is taught within a specific theme that was identified through a community survey.

For your information

Magnet programs offer special instructional activities, state-of-the-art technology and new equipment. However, there is NO additional cost to students.

Transportation is provided within the student's home cluster/region. (Transportation is not available to students living in certain outlying boundary areas.)

Students who wish to attend a magnet school can apply by completing a School Choice application. In addition, a letter of parental commitment will be requested.
